I was talking to a friend the other day about what I was talking to a friend the other day about what makes my prenatal yoga different. If your expectation for prenatal yoga is that you should be just sitting on a yoga mat and stretching - then my classes are actually NOT for you. Why? Let me explain.

Here are three pillars of my prenatal yoga programs:

1. Our Community of Women
2. The Movements - Both Strengthening & Stretching
3. The Power of Your Mind

Listen in to hear why these are so important for my prenatal yoga courses and how we use these to prepare for birth and motherhood.

🍁 As I was driving the other day, I was talking 🍁 As I was driving the other day, I was talking to Elias and asked him to look out the window and tell me what he saw. He responded in awe, "LOOK Mamma, SO beautiful!" We were driving past trees of reds and oranges, greens and browns, and the beauty was so obvious that even a four year old could embrace it.

I feel so thankful to live in a place with abundant nature. Where we can be in the forest within 15 minutes - exploring and learning. Pausing and noticing nature is a beautiful way to practice mindfulness.

Next time you are commuting - whether you are on public transport, biking, or driving - take a moment to look around. Look up from your phone, unplug from your podcast, and just look around. Take a deep breathe and see what you notice? Maybe you'll be surprised with how you feel!

Happy November friends ❤️

Motherhood is a whirlwind isn’t it? ❤️ It’ Motherhood is a whirlwind isn’t it? ❤️ It’s like sitting blind folded on a rollercoaster ride. You buckle the seat belt and then you’re just along for the ride - the emotions, excitement and anticipation. But here's a truth that often gets lost in the middle of the baby showers, birth plans and nursery preparations: mamas, you need relaxation and rest, now more than ever!

So let’s talk about rest for a second - speaking for myself, I am definitely the type of person to go full speed ahead while taking care of everyone else. In the whirlwind of pregnancy and motherhood, it's easy to forget the importance of relaxation and rest. I remember so clearly the days of anticipation while I was a week overdue with my second, and the early days of holding my newborn babies close (it’s a foggy memory - but a good one🤣). Amidst the advice and well-wishes, I wished someone would have emphasized the significance of taking a break, a moment to breathe and find calm during both pregnancy and early motherhood. And I don’t mean the, “let me hold the baby while you rest” because I was often on edge without my babies close by, it never worked for me 🙈 But someone sitting down with me and talking about resting both my body and mind.

There’s a silent pressure to be a "supermom" right from the start. We see images of active, always-on-the-go moms, but the truth is, your body has been through incredible changes, creating a new human being! It's miraculous, yes, but also incredibly demanding. And if I'm being completely transparent - if there is one thing I regret (I know regrets are not good 😂), it is NOT resting enough early postpartum. It is HARD with older siblings at home, but there are ways to let your body rest more.

So here’s your gentle reminder: take time for yourself. Your body deserves all the care and rest you can give it. Especially in those first 40 days postpartum. Embrace the power of a warm bath, indulge in that moment of quiet, or simply close your eyes and breathe.

It’s Friday - which means it’s my working day It’s Friday - which means it’s my working day aka my “me” day of the week 👏🏽 It’s such a gift to get back to work slowly, because I look forward to this day all week! And there’s no teacher burnout that’s so common with leading multiple classes in the week (can you believe I used to teach 10-15 classes a week?!)

I am sitting here this morning reflecting on what a beautifully busy month September has been! At home we had a few birthdays ❤️ We celebrated Emilia’s first birthday (even though she’s an august baby), my 34th and Elias’s 4th. I feel like I am in need of winter hibernation after all of the fun and cake baking! Birthdays feel so bittersweet now - both for myself and also seeing how the the little ones just grow up overnight. Can time just slow down a bit?🥹

With work, I really got into the groove with teaching, finishing two courses in Lund and started my first course back teaching in Malmö. It feels so motivating to be back in a room teaching in person and getting to meet so many inspiring women. Hearing their stories, their goals for birth - it is such an honor. ❤️

And digitally my focus is to slowly teach more online. I finalized my 7 day mindfulness program (share 📩 with your pregnant friends!) and am sooo close to sharing my newly updated 6 week program (it’s really good!!). I am also planning a few other digital projects - just reminding myself that good things take time 👏🏽❤️

Excited to see what October has in store!✨
